Proverbs 2:20 “Follow the steps of a good man instead, and stay on the paths of the righteous.”  Mentorship is a key thing, I did not have a good man to follow and led a life of sin, Found out Jesus is a good man to follow thru Gods word I will follow his steps.

Wow, December adn january never happened and now it is Feb 10,Ecclesiastes 2:10 Anything I wanted , I would take. I denied myselpf no pleasure. I even found great pleasure in hard work, a reward for all my labors.  wow, fast forward to the end, all of life can be summedup, Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyones’s duty

Recently had a home go under contract at 9810 M…..  made me think, Matthew 9; 8-10  When Jesus visited the tax collector, Jesus called sinners to dinner. Those who neeed you the most are who you need to call the most.

Ecclesiastes 11;6 Plant your seed in the morning ad keep busy all afternoon, for you do

not know if profit will come from one activity or another – or maybe both

Proverbs 1;2-12  sound words,

 

 2To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;

 3To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;

 4To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

 5A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

 6To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

 7The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

 8My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

 9For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.

 10My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.

 11If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:

 12Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:

John 12 24 I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives.   We celebrate the birth of the one whos death gave us birth.
